When a child has cancer, the whole family fights.

A Sibling's Love Foundation brings comfort to the brothers, sisters, and parents who stand beside the hospital bed — and funds the research working toward a cure.

Founded in loving memory of our son, Gavin Springsteen. 💛

Inspired by the bond between siblings, A Sibling's Love Foundation supports families facing childhood cancer by providing comfort packages to siblings and parents at the Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital and funding vital neuroblastoma research. — Our mission
What we do

Care for the whole family

A diagnosis doesn't just affect one child — it reshapes an entire family. We show up for all of them.

🧡

Sibling Care Packages

The reason we began. Brothers and sisters fight a quieter battle beside every hospital bed. We make care packages just for siblings at the University of Iowa — so they know they're seen, too.

🤍

Parent Care Packages

A diagnosis changes everything in an instant. We create care packages for parents at the time of diagnosis — small comforts for the hardest first days.

🔬

Neuroblastoma Research

We contribute to research toward better treatments and a cure for high-risk neuroblastoma, so fewer families ever walk this road.

Our inspiration

Gavin — and the siblings who love him

This foundation began with a happy, loving boy who fought stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma for five and a half years, and kept his smile through nearly all of it. Through Gavin's journey, his mom searched for support made just for his siblings — and never found one dedicated entirely to them. So she built it.

For Gavin, and for his siblings:
