The heart of why we began. When a child is in treatment, their brothers and sisters fight a quieter battle. We provide care packages made just for siblings at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital — so they know they're seen, too.
A diagnosis turns a family's world upside down in an instant. We create care packages for parents at the time of diagnosis — small comforts for the hardest first days, when everything feels uncertain.
Gavin fought stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma for five and a half years. We contribute to the research working toward gentler treatments and a cure, so fewer families ever have to walk this road.
Over the next five years, we plan to give back to Stead Family Children's Hospital — the place that became our second home across roughly 300 trips — to create a special space in Gavin's honor.
